- Official Rules
The Air KFAT – Destination Las Vegas Promotion (the “Promotion”) is conducted by Ohana Media Group on behalf of KFAT (“KFAT”).
The Promotion gives eligible participants an opportunity to win a trip for two (2) to Las Vegas, Nevada, to attend Ms. Lauryn Hill & Wyclef Jean: Celebrating 30 Years of The Score at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 6, 2026.
By entering, each participant agrees to these Official Contest Rules and to the decisions of KFAT, which are final in all matters relating to the Promotion.
The Regular Promotion Entry Period begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Alaska Time on September 28, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Alaska Time on October 20, 2026.
The On-Air Qualification Period begins September 28, 2026 and ends October 16, 2026.
A separate Last Chance Qualifier will be conducted at the Grand Prize Finale on October 24, 2026, as described in these rules.
- Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the State of Alaska who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Entrants must possess valid government-issued photo identification and be legally eligible to travel within the United States.
Employees of Ohana Media Group, KFAT, Chevrolet of Wasilla, participating sponsors, prize providers, advertising agencies, promotional partners, and members of their immediate households are not eligible.
KFAT reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant submitting false, incomplete, duplicate, or fraudulent information.
- How to Enter — QR Code
Beginning September 28, 2026, eligible listeners may enter the Promotion by visiting Chevrolet of Wasilla and scanning the official KFAT Promotion QR code displayed on the promotional poster.
One (1) entry per person per calendar day is permitted during the Regular Promotion Entry Period.
QR-code entries will be accepted through 11:59:59 p.m. Alaska Time on October 20, 2026.
Submitting an entry does not make an entrant a finalist.
- On-Air Qualification
Fifteen (15) finalists will qualify through an on-air promotion during Don’s show, weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Alaska Time, during the On-Air Qualification Period of September 28 through October 16, 2026.
One (1) on-air qualifier will be selected each weekday during the On-Air Qualification Period, for a total of fifteen (15) on-air qualifiers.
At a time determined by KFAT, Don’s show will play the official Air KFAT contest sounder. Following the sounder, listeners may call the designated contest telephone number announced by KFAT.
The ninth (9th) eligible caller to successfully connect with the designated contest line following the sounder will be instantly qualified as a finalist.
The caller must meet all eligibility requirements to qualify.
A person may qualify as an on-air finalist only once.
KFAT is not responsible for busy signals, dropped calls, telephone network failures, or other technical difficulties that may prevent a caller from connecting.
- Regular Finalist Selection and Notification
A total of 182 finalists will be selected through the Regular Promotion as follows:
- 15 finalists through on-air qualification; and
- 167 finalists through random drawings from eligible QR-code entries.
The 167 QR-code finalists will be selected throughout the Regular Promotion Entry Period rather than in a single drawing at the end of the entry period.
Potential finalists selected through QR-code drawings will be notified by telephone and email using the contact information provided at the time of entry. KFAT or its designated representative may leave a voicemail if a potential finalist cannot be reached by telephone.
Potential finalists must respond within seventy-two (72) hours after initial notification by telephone and email, or by the designated finalist check-in deadline on October 24, 2026, whichever occurs first, or they may forfeit their finalist position.
KFAT may select an alternate finalist if a potential finalist does not respond within the required time.
Each person may qualify only once.
All 182 regular finalists must meet all eligibility requirements and must be present at the Grand Prize Finale to be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing.
- Grand Prize Finale
The Grand Prize Finale will be held Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Chevrolet of Wasilla in Wasilla, Alaska.
The Grand Prize Finale event will take place from 12:00 p.m. through 2:00 p.m. Alaska Time.
Finalist check-in begins at 12:00 p.m. and closes promptly at 1:15 p.m. Alaska Time.
All previously selected finalists must personally check in during the designated check-in period, present valid government-issued photo identification, and complete any required documentation.
Finalists must be present to win.
The 182 previously selected finalists who properly check in will be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing, subject to the Last Chance Qualifier described below.
- Last Chance Qualifier
KFAT will conduct a Last Chance Qualifier at Chevrolet of Wasilla on October 24, 2026.
The Last Chance Qualifier entry period will begin at 12:00 p.m. and close promptly at 1:00 p.m. Alaska Time.
Eligible individuals who have not previously qualified as one of the 182 finalists may participate in the Last Chance Qualifier by completing a paper entry form at Chevrolet of Wasilla during the designated Last Chance Qualifier entry period.
Each eligible person may submit one (1) Last Chance entry.
Ten (10) Last Chance Qualifiers will be selected at random from all eligible Last Chance entries received during the designated entry period.
Last Chance Qualifiers must meet all eligibility requirements, present valid government-issued photo identification, complete any required documentation, and be present at the Grand Prize Finale when selected.
The ten (10) Last Chance Qualifiers will join the 182 previously selected finalists, creating a total pool of 192 finalists eligible for the Grand Prize drawing.
A person who has already qualified as one of the 182 finalists is not eligible to participate in the Last Chance Qualifier.
- Grand Prize Drawing
Following the close of the Last Chance Qualifier entry period, KFAT will select ten (10) Last Chance Qualifiers and verify their eligibility.
One (1) Grand Prize winner will then be selected by random drawing from all eligible finalists who are present and properly checked in at the Grand Prize Finale.
The eligible finalist pool will consist of:
- 15 on-air finalists;
- 167 QR-code finalists; and
- 10 Last Chance Qualifiers.
A total of 192 finalists will be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing.
